Friday playdate

Map's favorite book at the moment is Sandra Boynton's "Moo Baa La La La." It is very cute in a funny way - "A cow says Moo. A Sheep says Baa. Three singing pigs says la la la." Map also has two other books by Sandra Boynton - "Barnyard Dance" and "The Going to Bed Book." But "Moo Baa La La La" is her fav.

Today Map had a playdate with Zac in the afternoon. She was so excited at the playdate that she ended up not taking her normal morning nap at 11:30am.

Zac is 3-years old. After playing with Map for 5 minutes, Zac ran to his mommy and said "baby pain pain Zac." Apparently Map gave Zac a headache. It was hilarious. Actually, Map learnt a lot of things from him during the playdate.

Zac's mommy brought sticky rice along. Map saw Zac eating sticky rice and wanted to eat too. It was funny how the younger kid always imitated the older kid. Map loved sticky rice. She ended up eating a lot of sticky rice with her cauliflower soup.

At one point during the playdate, Map tried to get Zac's attention by smacking him with her big toy. Mommy nearly had a heart attack. Mommy had to apologize profusely to Zac and Zac's mommy and told Map that she could not do something like this again.

Zac and Map tried to sit in bumbo seats - both of them were way too old for these seats.

Map had so much fun on the playdate that she did not take a nap until 3pm. This was very unusual because Map had to take a morning nap and the latest morning nap so far was around 1:30pm. Guess excitement kept Map going until she could not resist sleepiness anymore.
