Hello Elmo

Video of Map and "Let's Rock Elmo"

Map's favorite show at this moment was Sesame Street. And her favorite character was Elmo. Mommy had shown Map some of the sesame street's clips on YouTube and Map became hooked after her hospital stay. There was nothing to do during her hospital stay after she caught stomach flu, so mommy had to show her YouTube video clip of Sesame Street. She was so addicted to Sesame Street that now we hid iPads, iPhone and laptop away from her because the moment she saw them, she would start throwing tantrum to see Sesame Street clips. And of course, watching TV/computer at 14-month is really not good for a baby in term of communication development and eyesight. We now only allow her to watch maybe once a week or once in 2 weeks. In order to reduce Map's craving for Sesame Street clip, mommy got Map a "Let's Rock Elmo."

"Let's Rock Elmo" could sing, play drum and tambourine. Map loved this toy. She liked to hear him sing during her meal time.

Map had just got "Let's Rock Elmo"

"I adore you, Elmo"

As for Sesame Street's clip, Map's top 10 are the following:

For this one, Map loved to sing "paam paam paam paam" at the end. She also learned to twirl watching Feist twirled. What not to like about this one - catchy lyrics, participation from many monsters and Feist's good voice.

Map loved shaking her hands and dancing along with Elmo when he danced on the moon.

Map loved India Arie's voice for this ABC song.

Map liked the break it down part for A B C D. Also she liked the colorful clothing and tights the singers wore.

Mommy could not stop humming this song afterward. Elmo's playing piano was so cute. Map gave 100% of her attention when playing this clip.

This is Daddy's favorite.

This was the first Sesame Street's video clip Map had ever watched. Extremely inspiring lyrics. Will.i.am just moved his body a little bit throughout the song, but he looked so cool. Mommy could recite the lyrics of this one.

This song made daddy want to go outdoors.

Map liked this clip because there were so many monsters performing. And the three chorus pigs were so cute!!

Adam Sandler's voice is surprisingly quite good.
